World's Easiest IKEA "HACK" - Office File System

After 5 months in our home, papers were beginning to pile up on our kitchen island. Ty and I, being obsessively particular, started getting brain aneurysms every time we walked into the kitchen. We desperately needed a filing system to keep bills and coupons out of sight. Clutter = sin. Yes, I know I'm dramatic. After several trips to Homegoods, Target, and Amazon.com looking for a minimalist, simple system; I decided to work with a an old magazine rack I purchased at IKEA years ago. This new filing systems works very well for us.

SUPPLIES

IKEA magazine rack $16.99

STEPS:

1. Use the label maker to come up with 6 categories to suit your filing needs. You can see our category selections below.
2. Peel off the film on the label strips and place on the magazine rack as shown below.
This was literally the easiest DIY project I've ever done. So easy, I'm not even sure if it's blog worthy. But here you go.
