I put exposed shelves up my kitchen about two weeks ago. That entire week I think I went to a resale shop at least every other day because I was so excited. I had plenty of things to put on display but it wasn't coming together right. The sizes and colors weren't working together real well. So I went searching or a few more pieces. (I love the way the shelves turned out, I'll be sure to post pictures when I post my house before and afters soon!) I found a few favorites. teapot- $3 I love teapots. I've toyed with the idea of starting a collection but I don't have the space plates - $1 I have all white plates displayed on my kitchen shelves. I would hate to take them down for meals and have an empty space (way impractical I know...but beauty before practicality, right?).so when I saw these I thought they would be perfect to have on hand so I don't have to take the display plates up and down...I love when I find something cute and I can convince myself that I actually have a reason to buy it. mason jar mug - $0.50 coat - $7 A little big but since it has a sash around the waste it works. It has a "bubble dome" bottom which I think is really fun. And the pockets are huge. I love big pockets dishes - $1.50 each Love the vintage decal. These look pretty cute on the shelf if I do say so myself And another teapot. I may have to stick one of these is the shop soon. They're adding up...I think I have six now. Nowhere to put them popcorn bowl - $1 Have I told you guys about my popcorn obsession? I make popcorn every night, about enough to fill that bowl, and eat it all myself. It's cheap and pretty good for you! Lots of fiber. I make it with either coconut oil or sunflower oil and salt. Yum! Anyway, I have lots of popcorn bowls. I love them. This is my FAVORITE! I fell in love with it when I bought it but I really didn't have a good place for it in my small kitchen. I took it to the craft show today. If I don't have room for it I'm sure someone else does. I really didn't want anyone to buy it though...every time someone picked it up I got internally jealous. I get that with a lot of things that I want to keep for myself..I'm trying really hard how to teach myself how to let go of cute things. I just keep reminding myself that I don't want my house to look like an old lady house overflowing with nick knacks. I hate clutter. puzzle - $1 This is a burger puzzle. I thought it was awesome. A great gift if nothing else ***** Also, remember this project? My sister sent me this photo today and thought it was adorable so I decided to share it. Didn't think of this to be a use for the little stool I made her but I guess she's a little more innovative than I am. What a doll! More to come tomorrow,
Have a beautiful day, Han
