Ty and I have been discussing adding a fashion segment to the blog for some time. Fashion is another form of creative expression. I certainly like connecting with other bloggers, friends, etc., on the subject. Here's to a new blog segment, not rooted in vanity, but creative connection. (This post includes white shorts...let me remind you that Labor day is NOT over yet, so I'm not breaking any rules, thank you). if you've been following along, you've seen a few travel guides from our North East road trip. The small coastal towns were overflowing with nautical prep attire. Everyone was dressed in navy, white, and red. Women galavanted the streets in pearls, loafers, and yellow rain jackets. Men accessorized their colorful oxford shirts with an anchored belt. Ty and I, already rather mesmerized by all things preppy, don't always fit in with the rest of the hipster world. Here, we felt a lovely sense of belonging. .Two things you need to know about our fashion game:

Then - plaid, boots, flannel, scarves...ALL HAIL FALL! The happiest season.
