Every year, my mom and I look forward to attending the Grand Rapids Parade of Homes, where local builders show off some of their latest projects. This year, I found myself drooling over one of the homes designed by the talented KLH Custom Homes. If you don't follow them on Instagram, you must. I'm always inspired by their progressive, intricate designs. Unforutnely, I only had my phone for photos, so I apologize for some blurriness! I know, I'm ready to move in too. I was mesmerized by the muted oak floors, the modern artwork, and the unexpected tile selections...And y'all know I'm a sucker for matte black finishes. Hats off to KLH. I also want to showcase two other rooms that I found inspirational. These are both from a home built by Heartland Builders LLC. First is this personal, memorable half bath. Yes, those are family photos. How fun! My mom is planning a new build and may be borrowing this concept for a wallpapered entry way. Next is a sophisticated black and white kitchen. You can't go wrong with the Carrara countertops that are all the rage, but this black stone with white veining is a nice change of pace. The parade did NOT help my itch to build again....I'm about ready to put a for sale sign in our yard!
