New Friday Faves! 10 of our favorite, random things are listed below. Happy Friday! First things first. While in San Diego, I saw these sunglasses while perusing some shops. I had been searching for a pair for over a year. I almost bought them but couldn't quite pull the trigger. The next day, my adorable Californian cousin was wearing the exact same pair! She looked so cute that I bought them that day. OBSESSED. We searched the entire World Wide Web for a new dresser for the condo. We didn't want a wood tone because we wanted the entire condo to feel light and airy, but, we didn't want white either, as we didn't want the space to feel too "ikea"-esque. This dresser was the perfect compromise! You read all about my minimal packing methods in this post. You want to hear something crazy? With only one carry-on on our 14 day trip to Hawaii, I managed to make room for my hair dryer. I bought this hair dryer a few months ago, and it means so much to me that I sacrificed very valuable suitcase space to bring it with me across the Atlantic! We've received lots of questions about our living room rug this week! Here it is - we are in LOVE! This book was an excellent read for anyone considering changes to their lifestyle, time, or priorities! We would highly recommend it! I found this article to be an interesting read about small(er) living! "You'll be paying all the time for a lot of space you only use some of the time. Does your home have a formal dining room and an eat-in kitchen and a breakfast bar or nook? How often do you use all those spaces? (Let's be real: How often do you ignore all of them and eat on the couch instead?) .....More space and more stuff also means more cleaning, repairs, and a heavier mental load of household chores....big homes isolate us. They separate us from each other within the house, and they encourage us to treat our home as our personal fortress, our bulwark against the broader community." This Etsy shop is my my FAVORITE source for pillows. The blue pillows in our living room are from this shop. She has great prices and great patterns! I am probably crazy late to the game here, but I have a new gadget that I'm really into. This little contraption allows mean to plug my DSLR camera's memory card directly into my phone. So, when we travel, I can quickly upload photos right to my iPhone library. We often chat with followers about Google flights! It's always our answer when we are asked about where we found deals on flights. On the way to Hawaii, we visited family in San Diego. Our flights from San Diego to Hawaii were $236 round trip. Have you hopped on the Volcano candle wagon yet? Again, likely late to the game here. A friend of mine gave me one of these candles last Spring, and I have been buying them ever since. Definitely "sparks joy" around our cozy condo. Happy Friday!
