Do any of you own a label maker? They are seriously fun. I ordered this one off of Amazon a millennium ago and stumbled across it the other day. I forgot about how fun the thing was. I walked around the house looking for anything and everything to label. The best projects are always constructed on a whim. How fun are these little Piggy banks? I gave one to each of my adorable nieces and nephews.
Here's a short, cute, incredibly easy DIY! Perfect for one of those days where you feel crafty but don't feel like sitting down for 4 hours to embark on a complicated project. This just takes a few fun minutes.
Notice how much bigger the "Icecream Fund" piggy bank is than the "College Fund" piggy bank?....priorities.
1. Empty jars
These jars once held spaghetti sauce, jam, and salsa. I washed them out and finished them off with some Goo-gone to take care of the labels.
2. Spray Paint
3. Label maker
I probably don't even need to include a step by step tutorial here. Wash the jars. Spray paint the lids. Then spell out whatever you would like on your label maker and stick it on. Rocket science.
I've been thinking about slitting a hole into the top of the lid to more accurately preform like a piggy bank. What do you think? How would you do it?
I've been thinking of making a few for myself...Addiction to Hobby Lobby fund...Shoe fund...Froyo fund....
Have a BEAUTIFUL day,
Hannah & Tyler
