First condo reveal post! Yay! We have been spending the last few weeks slowly putting this home together. The living room was the first on our list as it is where we spend most of our time. As I referenced in an instagram post last week, the palette for this condo was inspired by several trips to 30a this year. While we loved all of the Mid century elements of our last home, we didn't feel as though that design would fit this condo. We decided to go with a "Modern coastal" vibe here. We're deeply in love with 30a's white beach homes, linen furniture, and blue accents. Creating a home that reminds us of our favorite place has made this feel personal and home-y, especially during these dreary winter months! Sofa (such a great price!) Accent chairs Rug (this is a 5x7, but we will likely swap for 8x10) Frame TV (also available here and here - detailed review coming to the blog this week!) Coffee table Frames Pillows Lumbar pillow Side table (ours is discontinued, this one is similar) Throw blanket (gifted) Accent beads (similar) Faux Fig (similar) Candle Photo Books TV console (we installed different IKEA legs, and these pulls) Hardwood Floor Wall Color - Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace The Samsung Frame TV is SO WORTH IT! I have a super detailed post reviewing the TV coming this week. We have yet to mount it on the wall, but we already love it and change the "artwork" nearly everyday! We added 9 canned lights in this space, making the living room much brighter. We got rid of the ceiling fan (pictured above) to make the ceiling feel taller. We have AC, and you know, live in the tundra, so we didn't think the fan was necessary. To boot, this condo is 725 square feet, so it doesn't take much to regulate the temperature. The rug really brings this room together. We actually had no intention of using this rug in this space initially; but we brought it over to the condo to use temporarily until we found the right one. To our surprise, it was the perfect color palette and feel for this space! (although, we will likely swap this size for the 8x10). We have yet to install our "office" in that area behind the sofa. There will be a desk perpendicular to the map, with a cozy leather chair and small gallery wall. Thanks for following along; it means so much to us!
Next up on the blog, we will be discussing the Frame TV, documenting our San Diego trip, and sharing the condo's bathroom reveal!! HJJ
