Hi, Hannah here. Nice to meet you!
We are Hannah and Ty, home renovation bloggers in Grand Rapids, Mi. This blog came to life in 2013 while I was attending college. My parents, who have always been in the business of building and flipping homes, gave me the option to rent campus housing (on my own dime), or move into a foreclosed home they had purchased at no charge. The catch? I help tackle the renovation alongside them. My Dad did all of the "Dad things" that were over my head, while I did demo, painted, removed carpet, etc. I quickly fell in love with home design and renovating. After flipping two houses, with their help, at 18; I began documenting the process on this blog.
Ty stumbled upon my blog by way of a mutual facebook friend, and asked me out on a date!
We moved around the country (South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas) before getting married and settling back home in Grand Rapids. Ty began contributing to the blog with a travel segment, as he had made a goal to visit all 50 states (we have since hit 48!). His contribution to the blog grew as he procured his real estate license and the two of us became a team.. Less than four years of marriage and we are in our fifth home (built one and renovated four!). We also built another single family home and four townhomes, which we sold.
